The United States has taken steps to shore-up its nuclear fleet and invested significantly in next-generation nuclear technology intended to be sold abroad. Now, there must be a new dialogue among governments, industry, community stakeholders and others who want nuclear solutions to meet their energy security needs.

William E. Fork
Will Fork is a partner in the nuclear energy practice at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where he advises clients regarding international nuclear industry transactions and the development of new build civil nuclear programs, where he represents electric utilities and companies regarding international energy transaction, export control, nuclear liability, and domestic regulatory issues. Among other projects, he has served as the first General Counsel of the UAE’s Emirates Nuclear Energy Company, which is completing construction of four nuclear power plants.
Will serves on the Board of Directors of the International Nuclear Law Association (INLA), the association for the international nuclear law bar, and serves as chair of the Nuclear New Build Working Group. He presents regarding international nuclear law issues for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), as well as the NEA International School of Nuclear Law in Montpellier, France. Nuclear projects he has advised include new build and commercial projects in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
